Garden Escape
Project overview
The garden department of QVC became very popular during lockdown and that was why they decided to give it a refresh. The idea was to give it more specific seasonal updates and create a user friendly landing page.
My contributions
I was the only designer on this project and worked together with Creative Direction. I was responsible for the end design and the whole process to get there.
Research
Creative Direction did some research about the garden page. They had a look at the competitors and came up with some suggestions how to improve the garden department on web, tv and social. We discussed everything together which helped me a lot in my process of designing the new landing page for the garden department.
Visual exploration
One of the most important things of the project was to give the page a new look every season using different imagery. I explored different type of images; stock, vendor and photo's shot in house. Put them together on a moodboard to give a good idea in which direction the page would go.

Wireframing
The start of this project was by creating a wireframe for the landing page. Using the different types of modules that we use in AEM. Trying to inspire people to work in their garden and spent more time enjoying their outside area.

Final UI design
After creating the wireframes it was time to design the prototypes and give the page the right look and feel. Making it interactive in Adobe XD so I could easily present it to the managers.
Made some changes after positive feedback and created the page in AEM and timed it in to go live soon.

As part of the garden department update we also updated the garden specific emails. I created a template which would be easy for everyone to use and made an example for web and mobile. Using the new type of images and labels designer for the garden department.
